To ensure a digital foundation is built to solve specific operational issues rather than just adding features. He highlighted that many projects fail due to unclear business goals or the wrong implementation partner, emphasizing that strategy must always lead software.

Session 2: The Connected Factory - Bridging the Shop Floor to the Cloud

In this session, Mr. Viet Vu and Mr. Dung Nguyen explored the Hybrid Foundation, educating visitors on how digital transformation is not a "black or white" choice between On-Premise and Cloud.

• Mr. Viet Vu discussed how to use MQTT as a universal translator to unlock siloed data from diverse machines and deliver it securely to central management software. He also highlighted the power of the VDA5050 standard, which allows different mobile vehicles to communicate directly with a fleet management system without vendor lock-in.
• Mr. Dung Nguyen addressed common concerns regarding security and internet stability in Vietnam, explaining how Hybrid Foundation between On-Prem and Cloud ensure data protection and business continuity even if a connection is lost. He detailed how critical systems can stay on-premise while business apps and reporting run safely in the cloud.
