GRADION LISTED ON CLIMATE-ID, STRENGTHENING TRANSPARENT CLIMATE ACTION ACROSS ITS GLOBAL ENGINEERING OPERATIONS
Ho Chi Minh City - October 2025 - Gradion (NFQ Asia Pte. Ltd.) has been listed on Climate-ID, a public transparency profile that connects a company’s climate actions, reduction targets, and verified impact in one place. Climate-ID is part of the ClimatePartner certification framework, designed to make corporate climate action measurable and auditable for customers and stakeholders¹.

What the listing means
The Climate-ID profile visualizes how a company measures emissions, sets reduction targets, and documents verified progress ensuring that sustainability commitments are backed by data, not just declarations¹.
Since 2019, Gradion has been a Partner in Climate Action for six consecutive years, offsetting a total of 2,220 tons of CO₂ through verified climate projects across Asia². In 2019, Gradion offset 816 tons, increasing to 1229 tons in 2022, supporting renewable energy, reforestation, and clean-water initiatives certified under Gold Standard and Verified Carbon Standard (Verra)³.
How we align with global frameworks
Gradion structures its sustainability reporting and reduction approach around widely recognized frameworks, including:
-
GHG Protocol Corporate Standard for accounting Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions⁴.
-
Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) guidance for aligning reduction goals with the 1.5°C pathway⁵.
-
Gold Standard and VCS (Verra) project certifications to ensure real, traceable impact⁶.
This alignment reinforces Gradion’s commitment to credible, transparent climate action as a core part of its engineering and operations model.
Engineering for lower-carbon software
With digital infrastructure consuming around 2% of global electricity and rising⁷, Gradion’s biggest climate lever lies within its code. The company applies methodologies from the Green Software Foundation’s Software Carbon Intensity (SCI) specification, optimizing data storage, compute efficiency, and runtime energy mix⁸.
These practices help Gradion’s engineering teams design systems that run cleaner, process smarter, and reduce operational emissions, demonstrating that sustainability in software is as much about architecture as it is about ambition.
Operating where momentum is building
Gradion’s operations across Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Egypt, and Europe reflect a global mindset built on local energy. Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam, is emerging as a fast-growing hub for both digital transformation and renewable innovation, with governments accelerating clean power and industry digitalization⁹.
