Like many legacy manufacturers, SAT relied heavily on manual methods. Production data was managed using Google Sheets, and information between departments was scattered and inconsistent. Teams worked in silos, with limited cross-functional communication.

Although SAT had implemented the Infor Syteline ERP system, its complexity made it hard for employees to use. The interface created friction and confusion, so the system’s capabilities remained underutilized. Actual production efficiency lagged at 55%, far from the company’s 95% target.

 

The Solution

Infor partner with deep technology knowledge and two decades of startup execution experience, Gradion offered more than a typical software solution. To fully grasp the challenges, Gradion’s team embedded themselves at SAT’s factory in Chonburi for four days. They observed workflows, interviewed leadership, engaged with key employees, and mapped out the entire production process. The insight was clear: a complex ERP interface had caused employees to default back to spreadsheets. Gradion’s goal became clear – simplify, not replace.
