Risk Statement - Automatically creating a note and Slack messaging

Context:

To ensure the Board of Directors (BOD) and Heads of Departments (HODs) receive timely updates on critical project health developments, a notification must be issued whenever a project status shifts to At Risk or Off Track. Additionally, a detailed note documenting the reason for the status change should be recorded to support transparent communication and effective issue management.

Fields:

  • Project Health: The status of the project.
  • Risk Statement: (only visible when Project Health set to At Risk or Off Track) to explain the cause of the negative.

Workflows:

  • Create note after updating: After updating the Risk Statement, a note will be created, and a Slack message will be sent to the designated channel to notify stakeholders.
  • Clear Risk Statement when after resolving: When the project returns to an On Track status, the Risk Statement should be cleared to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
