In Hanoi this September, Gradion participated in Automation World 2026, held from September 9th - 11th at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Hanoi as a Premium Booth Partner.

Through the exhibition presence in collaboration with our event partners and shop floor partners, Gradion highlighted the role of connected systems, intelligent automation, and digital transformation in helping businesses build scalable and integrated operations.

Bringing Connected Factory Systems to the Exhibition Floor

Vietnamese factories are moving from isolated automation projects to fully connected systems, and that shift was the throughline of Gradion's presence at the show. At Automation World 2026, Gradion presented its vision of helping companies scale with fully connected factory systems and automation software.

Gradion's exhibition presence brought together shop floor demonstrations, partner solutions, and discussions around the opportunities and challenges of implementing digital transformation initiatives. The event also created opportunities for visitors to explore how connected technologies can support more integrated and scalable operational environments. Over three days, Gradion's booth ran 50+ live demonstrations and hosted hundreds of conversations with factory owners, operations directors, and technology leaders from across Vietnam and the APAC region. The stops included a VIP tour by the COEX delegation from Korea on opening day.

Demonstrating a Connected Factory Ecosystem Through 9 Partners

At Automation World 2026, Gradion presented a live factory demonstration built on a technology stack comprising 9 partners, each contributing a dedicated layer of the factory ecosystem. The demonstration illustrated how enterprise systems, manufacturing execution, AI-powered customer management, and automated material flows can work together within a connected operational environment.

Automation World Vietnam 2026

The technology stack brought together:

  • Infor - Providing the ERP and WMS, powering data-driven operations and decision-making with the Infor Velocity Suite
  • MPDV - Powering the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) layer for real-time shopfloor execution, supported by 45+ years of experience in manufacturing IT.
  • Margince - Gradion's AI-native CRM, connecting operational insights with sales and customer-facing processes.
  • KUKA, TuskRobots, Phenikaa-X, Viet Dynamic, OpenMind Robotics, and SYNAOS - Contributing robotics, AGV/AMR, and intralogistics technologies demonstrated in the live factory environment.

Each partner contributes to a specific capability in each layer of the factory ecosystem, while Gradion connects all of them to enable a more integrated operational environment on the shop floor. The demonstration showcased how enterprise software, manufacturing systems, AI-powered applications, and automated material flows can be brought together to support businesses in exploring connected factory architectures.

Exploring AI, Automation, and Business Value Through Data and Real Applications with 6 Experts

Complementing the live factory demonstration, Gradion brought together six speakers for a 90-minute Main Stage session on the final morning of Automation World 2026. The six sessions from leading experts across the tech industry explored the role of AI, autonomous operations, manufacturing execution, and connected ecosystems, connecting technology capabilities with practical business applications.

The session featured perspectives from Gradion and its partners:

  • Lars Jankowfsky, Founder & CEO, Gradion - The Factory Is Automated. Why Are We Still Working with Paper and Excel? How AI will change daily work. A hands-on session with real-world examples.
  • Kannika Sattamwilai, Country Director, Thailand & Indochina, Infor - From Automation to Autonomous Operations: How AI Agents Transform Manufacturing and Warehouse Performance
  • Sascha Graef, Managing Director, MPDV Asia - IIoT Connectivity, Traceability and Real-time monitoring with MES HYDRA X
  • Dr. Philipp Schäfers, Head of Business Development, SYNAOS - Intralogistics Automation with Mobile Robots and Central Fleet Management: How to Start, Scale and Succeed
  • Charlotte Nguyen, Head of Product, Margince - Autonomous B2B Sales Workflows with Margince AI-Native CRM
  • Loc Nguyen, Business Consultant, Gradion - Connecting the Ecosystem: From Smart Manufacturing to Business Value

Together, the sessions provided a range of perspectives on how businesses can approach AI adoption, connected systems, and automation initiatives. This has given valuable insights to the factory and business leaders on how to start their digital transformation journey.

The demonstration signals a shift in how Vietnam's manufacturing sector is approaching automation: not as isolated point solutions, but as a connected stack spanning ERP, MES, AI-native CRM, and robotics. For Gradion, Automation World 2026 marks one of its clearest public demonstrations yet of a category-defining role in APAC's connected-factory market.

"What has fundamentally changed in the last few years is AI - it is going to change the world of manufacturing and robotics. That's why Gradion is here at Automation World to make a clear presence that Gradion is building toward the future of robotics and AI in Vietnam." - Lars Jankowfsky, Founder & CEO of Gradion

A Collaborative Effort Behind the Event

This scale wouldn't have been possible without our Event Partners - Infor, MPDV, Margince, and our Shopfloor Partners - KUKA, TuskRobots, Phenikaa-X, Viet Dynamic, OpenMind Robotics, and SYNAOS, each contributing a piece of the connected factory demonstration.
